Marta is a Design Director at IDEO, a global design firm that takes a human-centered, design-based approach to helping companies innovate and grow.
She uses her experience in visual design and brand strategy to simplify complex thinking into tangible constructs, align teams, inspire organizations, and develop brands from the inside out.
Ranging in industries from food and beverage to healthcare and tech, Marta has worked with multi-disciplinary teams to answer her clients' biggest questions. Starting with real conversations and consumer needs, she believes in getting tangible quickly in order to learn and iterate. She's used this approach to create strategic visions for new products + pipelines, services + experiences, visual brand expressions, and behaviors + culture.
From local to global, Marta has collaborated with clients like World Wildlife Fund, Suntory, Intuit, Nestlé, Planned Parenthood, Anheuser-Busch, Revolution Foods, and The J.M. Smuckers Company to push their brands, culture, and approach to innovation.
Prior to joining IDEO, Marta worked as an in-house graphic designer + art director at Target and Yahoo!, and as a freelance designer for clients including Williams-Sonoma, Papyrus, Pottery Barn, and Workman Publishing.
Marta graduated as Salutatorian from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in 2009 with a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in Advertising Design. Her work has been recognized by Communication Arts, Art Director’s Club, HOW Magazine, Computer Arts Magazine, CMYK magazine, AdFed MN, and GD USA.
